What is PRP Treatment?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment is a method in which enriched plasma, obtained from the patient's own blood, is injected into the treatment area. This method accelerates the body's own healing mechanism and is a completely natural and safe treatment option.
How is PRP Prepared?
A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient and processed in a special centrifuge device. The platelets are concentrated and a plasma rich in growth factors is obtained. The resulting PRP is applied to the treatment area under sterile conditions. The entire process is completed within approximately 30-45 minutes.
Areas of Use
PRP treatment is successfully applied in many areas: hair loss and hair transplant support, skin rejuvenation and wrinkle treatment, orthopedic disorders (joint, tendon and ligament injuries), sports injuries, chronic wound healing, and knee cartilage problems.
Advantages of PRP Treatment
PRP treatment carries no risk of allergic reaction due to its natural origin. Since the patient's own blood is used, biocompatibility is excellent. The procedure is performed on a day-case basis with a short recovery period. It offers an alternative to surgical intervention and can be combined with other treatment methods.
